Nothing’s affordable brand CMF introduced its first Pro framework which features major enhancements. The budget-friendly CMF Phone 2 Pro has a triple-camera configuration, higher display specifications, NFC connectivity, and a modular design featuring attachable lenses.

Display and Design
The CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a 6.77-inch 1080p AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. It has 2,160Hz PWM dimming, 10-bit color depth, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Panda Glass, an inexpensive Chinese Gorilla Glass counterpart, protects the screen.

The phone is 7.8mm thick and 185g, smaller and lighter than the previous iteration yet having the same battery. It is IP54 water and dust resistant and comes in White, Black, Light Green, and Orange.

Internals, Software
With 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, the gadget uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor. MicroSD expansion is possible. It comes with Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15, and CMF promises three years of Android upgrades and six years of security fixes. The initial model lacked NFC, which enabled contactless payment.

Cameras
The 50MP, 1/1.57-inch primary sensor can capture 4K at 30fps. The phone has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a second 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Its front camera is 16MP. The rear camera system now enables macro and fisheye modular lens additions, offered separately.

Batteries and Prices
5,000 mAh battery supports 33W wired and 5W reverse charging. Official data says the gadget can play 22 hours of YouTube or 10 hours of games and maintain 90% battery life after 1,200 charge cycles.

The 8GB + 128GB model costs $229 and the 256GB model $253. A macro or fisheye lens costs $38, a wallet/stand costs $38, and a universal case costs $27. One lens and both accessories cost $49 as a package. All accessories are offered on CMF’s website.
